荷蘭薯沙 tuì 歐洲人來講，其實無啥特別。

Tuì 我這位身為馬鈴薯國新婦來講，伊 mā 是無啥特別。

M̄-koh，無特別無代表伊無啥物特殊 ê 代誌 thang 記錄佮紹介。

阮翁有一个朋友，伊 ê 男朋友是前東德人。

有一年伊來臺灣𨑨迌借蹛佇阮兜。

彼時，猶原健在 ê 阿母，想著這位朋友參伊彼个真歹奉待 ê 囝婿𫝛款是德國人。

伊 tō 先去款一堆馬鈴薯轉來囥講，我 buē 曉做德國料理，這位先生 ê 三頓 tō 攏交予你處理。

我講，咱若有煮 tō 邀請伊做伙食，伊若無佮意，伊家己會去款，免慒心。

Buē 當遮爾仔毋是款，阿母講。

這位朋友出身佇東德，可能是往過 ê 環境較無西德遮爾仔好。

致到伊 ê 好喙斗予阮阿母捷捷講平平是德國人，喙斗差遐爾仔濟。

有一日，我放假佇厝，阿母講，無定著伊無佮意我 ê 手路，今仔日 ê 早起頓予你處理。

我看灶跤彼堆特別為伊款 ê 馬鈴薯攏無動一屑屑仔抑無 tō kā 怹挈來做荷蘭薯沙。

這位佇前東德大漢 ê 朋友一看著荷蘭薯沙 tō 講，你知影德國人無佇早起頓食這項，著毋著？

知矣，不而過你這時毋是佇德國，著毋著，我問。

講煞，伊笑甲袂振袂動，越一个身行去客廳。

阿母，伊輕聲講。

坐佇膨椅看電視 ê 阿母，suî 越頭過來問，按怎，無佮意食是毋是？

這位前東德來 ê 朋友，聽無阿母講 ê 話。

開始比手畫跤。

聽無伊佇講啥，毋過知影伊佇比啥 ê 阿母講，好好好，你欲轉去進前攏我 kā 你攢。

彼馬鈴薯無愛食，咱莫食。

連鞭阿母來買 kauh 麭予你食好無，阿母那講那比手畫跤。

比兩塊俗麭中間 kauh 一塊肉，閣配二聲 kôⁿ hām mô͘ 來表示豬肉 hām 牛肉攏攢一份。

徛佇後壁看這齣 ê 我，笑甲目汁 tsha̍p-tsha̍p 滴。

我古錐 ê 阿母，若毋是生毋著時代，伊這時應該是一位 gâu 人。

馬鈴薯泥焗

馬鈴薯泥　1000g

牛奶　250g

Bá-tah　50g

卵　1

Tshì-sù

鹽、胡椒

...... 步數 ......

1. 馬鈴薯泥、Bá-tah 濫做伙抐 hōo 齊，牛奶、卵摻落去搜 hōo 齊，tiàu 寡鹽佮胡椒。

2. Tshì-sù 鋪頂懸，落入烘箱，捘200度烘10~15分鐘，樂暢來食。

Meine Mutter hat mir immer gesagt,

Ich liebe Forrest Gump sehr, besonders den Satz.

Ich bin mit einem deutschen verheiratet.

Und ich muss sagen, Kartoffelpüree war nicht so besonders.

Weil ich sage zu meinem Mann.

Wir können nicht alle außer Kartoffeln und Brot.

Ja, ich muss sagen, Kartoffeln in Deutschland sind sehr, sehr lecker. 

Vor vielen Jahren, ich hatte einen Gast aus England und er hat mir gesagt ich koche das beste Essen in England : Mashed potatoes.

Mein erste Idee ist....Was?

Aber nach dem Essen verstehe ich ihn.

Ich danke ihm sehr.

Weil die Geschichte bringt mich in die Zeit, als meine Mutter noch lebte.

Einmal hat mich ein Freund aus Deutschland in Taiwan besucht.

Mein Mutter sorgte er möchte nicht was sie kocht.

Dann kauft sie sehr viele Kartoffeln.

Weil ich habe immer gesagt, in Deutschland esse ich mit meinem Mann Mutter und Vater in Mahlzeit nur Kartoffeln、Käse、Schinken、Marmelade und Brot.

Niemals wechseln und mein Mann Mutter nicht erlaubt das die Leute ihre Küche besuchen.

Sie denkt sie kocht gut obwohl in mein Mann's Haus.

Oje, die Zeit.

Wir waren noch nicht verheiratet 

Jedes Mal, wenn meine Mutter das gehört hat dann fragte sie was isst du?

Ich sage, deshalb bin ich dünner aus Deutschland zurück kommem.

Mein Freund aus DDR.

Vielleicht, die Zeit in der DDR nicht so gut, er hat einen guten Appetit.

Er isst jede Mahlzeit die meine Mutter kochte.

Obwohl, Hähnchenschenkel.

Mein Mann isst nicht.

Weil da gibt's Knochen.

Ein Tag Morgens, mein Mutter hat mir gesagt.

Vielleicht er mag nicht was ich koche , dann koche dir ihm für heute Frühstück.

Sofort denke ich an Kartofffelpüree.

Nachdem kochen, mein deutscher Freund sagt.

Ich glaube, du weisst Kartoffelpüree ist nicht zum Frühstück.

Ich weiß, du weisst wie viele Beschwerden wenn die Leute mit den deutschen zusammen essen und hier ist Taiwan nicht Deutschland, sage ich.

Mama, ich liebe ihr kochen, das ist nicht gut, sage mein Freund.

Meine Mutter versteht nicht Deutsch, aber sie versteht was passiert und was mein Freud sagt.

Sie sagt Taiwanischen zum mein Freund, bevor nach Deutschland zurück, ich koche alle Mahlzeiten für dich.

Heute mache ich Kartoffelpüree zum Frühstück, habe mich sofort an die zwei Geschichte erinnert.

Und diese beiden Geschichten haben mich dazu gebracht, darüber nachzudenken.

Was die Menschen sprechen ist nicht so wichtig, wichtig ist  zu verstehen was sie meinen.

Oh, ja!

Mein Mann isst Hähnchenschenkel jetzt und sagt das ist sehr lecker.

Und was passiert für seine Mutter?

Niemals wechseln.

Dann haben wir ein Problem?

Natürlich, aber wenn die Leute möchte nicht andere Leute verstehen.

Dann mache ich mein Weg, das ist einfacher.

Obwohl, sie ist nicht glücklich und mein Mann möchte das sagen "let her do".

Aber er sagt nicht, weil Frau werde verschwinden.

Verheiratet ist Respekt nicht frage die Leute folgen mein 'lead'.

Kartoffelpüree überbacken

...... Zutaten ......

Gekochte Kartoffeln und  in der Kartoffelpresse stampfen　1000g

Milch　250g

Butter　50g

Ei　1

Käse

Salz ＆ Pfeffer

...... Zubereitung ......

1.  Die Kartoffeln mit Butter gut mischen. Dann die Milch und Ei dazu geben und gut mischen.

2. Mit Salz und Pfeffer abschmecken.

3. Den Käse darüber streuen, in den Ofen geben und 10-15 Minuten bei 200 Grad backen. Guten Appetit!

I love Forrest Gump very much, especially the phrase.

I am married to a German.

And I have to say, mashed potatoes weren't that special.

Because I always tell this to my husband.

We can't do all but potatoes and bread.

Yes, I have to say, potatoes in Germany are very, very tasty.

Many years ago, i had a guest from England and he told me I cook the best food in England: mashed potatoes.

My first idea is ... what?

But after dinner I understand him.

I am very grateful to him.

Because the story takes me back to when my mother was still alive.

Once a friend from Germany visited me in Taiwan.

My mom worried he might not like what her cooking.

Then she buys a lot of potatoes.

Because I've always said that in Germany I only eat potatoes 、 cheese 、 ham 、 jam and bread in meals with my husband, mother and father.

Never change and my husband's mother doesn't allow people to visit her kitchen.

She thinks she cooks well though in my husband's house.

Oh dear, the time.

We weren't married yet.

Every time my mother heard this she would ask what are you eating?

I say, that's why I came back from Germany, i get thinner.

My friend from GDR.

Maybe the time in the GDR wasn't that good, he has a good appetite.

He eats every meal my mother cooked.

Even though, chicken thighs.

My husband doesn't eat this.

He says there are bones.

One day in the morning, my mother told me.

Maybe he doesn't like what I cook, then today you cook for him.

I immediately think of mashed potatoes.

After cooking, my German friend says.

I think you know mashed potatoes ain't for breakfast.

I know, you know how many complaints when people eat with Germans and Taiwan is not Germany, I say.

Mom, I love your cooking, this is not tasty, say my friend.

My mother doesn't understand German, but she understands what is happening and what my friend is saying.

She says Taiwanese to my friend, before going back to Germany, I cook all meals for you.

Today I make mashed potatoes for breakfast, I immediately remembered these two story.

And those two stories got me thinking about it.

What people say is not so important, it is important to understand what they mean.

Oh yeah!

My husband eats chicken thighs now and says it's delicious.

And what happens to his mother?

Never switch.

Then we have a problem?

Of course, but when people don't want to understand other people.

Then I'll do my way, it's easier.

Although she is not happy and my husband wants to say "let her do".

But he never said it again, because he knews that his wife will disappear.

Married is respect not ask people to follow my lead. 

Mashed Potatoes Bake

...... Ingredients ......

Boiled potatoes and masher　1000g

Milk　250g

Butter　50g

Egg　1

Cheese

Salt＆ Pepper

...... Method ......

1. Mix the potatoes well with butter. Then add the milk, egg and mix well.

2. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 

3. Sprinkle the cheese on top, put in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes at 200 degrees. Enjoy your meal!
